Court Availability

Permanent Court Time (PCT) Guidelines

  • PCT is renewable every 10 weeks
  • PCT is for doubles only
  • Cost is $29/member per 10 weeks
  • Each PCT will have a coordinator who is responsible for notifying the Tennis Administrator of any changes at the end of each session. No adjustments will be made mid-session.
  • PCT is an automatic renewal unless Tennis Administrator is notified otherwise.
  • Once a group cancels their PCT session, the next group on the waiting list will be offered the PCT. The Tennis Administrator will keep a log of the wait list.
  • A PCT cannot be taken away as long as all of the members are in good standing with WSC membership.
  • The PCT availability sheet is located on the large bulletin board outside of the tennis office.
  • WSC reserves the right to make changes to these guidelines as deemed necessary.

Court Check-In
All members and players must check in at the Reception Desk for a court reservation. If there is any substitution, the player canceling must inform the Reception Desk to avoid the $15 no-show fee. All players whose names appear on the court reservation must be actively playing on reserved court.

Court Cancellations
Cancellations must either be phoned in a minimum of 2 hours prior to the scheduled reservations, or cancelled on-line. A $15/person no-show fee will be applied to each member’s account if the court is not cancelled.

No-show Fees
If a scheduled member does not show for the court, a $15 no-show fee will be applied to their account.

Court Fees/Guest Fees
A Tennis Member who brings in a guest may use a guest pass or pay the $15/person court fee. Guests visiting the club must present photo I.D. at each visit and have a signed guest waiver on file.

Health Club Fees
Health club members must pay a $15/person court fee to play tennis.

Tennis Etiquette

  • Talk quietly near tennis courts.
  • Do not disturb tennis matches during play.
  • Leave courts promptly when time is expired. (Bell sounds at the half hour.)
  • Enter and exit courts at entrance closest to your court to avoid disturbing other players.
  • Do not walk behind a court during an active point.
  • Pass as quickly as possible after completion of a point.
  • Before playing, spare equipment should be placed out of the way.
  • Proper tennis attire, including shirts worn by all players, is required.
  • If time has expired and you have one point to finish, then you may finish your point (should not take longer than 30 seconds).
  • If time has expired and you have multiple points in a game to finish, you may do so only if no one is waiting to play. At the end of the game please exit your court.

Make up Policy
Students are responsible for attending the class in which they have registered. If for any reason the student cannot attend a class, they can make that class up in a class that is equal to or one level below the registered class, with prior approval from the instructor. Class must be made up during the current session. No refunds or credits will be given for classes missed.

Refunds
Refunds are given due to long term illnesses or injury that would prevent a participant from completing the remainder of the session and the provision of a Doctor’s note. The refund is for the remainder of the current class session and will be calculated from the date the physician’s note is submitted.
