My educational background is in Education, but since I was in college, I have had great interest in fitness. I have spent several years so far working out in various places, and I have found that I enjoy being a part of helping someone achieve their fitness goals in any capacity.

"God gave you one body...make the most of it!"

I attended Eastern Illinois University where I majored in elementary education.  This included endorsements in P.E, reading and social studies.  I also have a masters in educational administration.  Teaching P.E. as I do, it was a natural progression into personal training.  Much of what I am doing in P.E. currently could fall under the category of personal training.  When I had a chance to take a class to officially become a certified trainer, I jumped at the opportunity. While at Eastern I also competed in wrestling where I qualified for the Division I national tournament twice and competed internationally while attending Eastern.  Wrestling provided many opportunities and I will always have an interest in combat type sports.  I began judo a few years ago with my daughter and son. In addition, I have coached wrestling, soccer and track.
