Stingrays
The Stingrays Vision:
Building a team where each person will grow physically, mentally, socially and emotionally.
A team where each individual is able to progress at a rate that is appropriate for their
needs as a student and an athlete. Where each individual will see the progress and
benefits that hard work yields as they work toward their goals.
Growing physically, as each individual challenges themselves in practices and attends as
many meets as possible. To see the enjoyment and benefits of fundamental improvements,
team spirit, and race experiences.
Growing mentally, as they understand the discipline, dedication, and commitment that
swimming entails. Lessons to be applied to all aspects of their lives as they
mature, gain confidence, and reach to their future.
Growing emotionally and socially as they enjoy the camaraderie of being a part of a
close knit swimming team/family. Learning to be leaders as they encourage and role
model for younger athletes.
Please Note:
All New Incoming Stingrays Must Be Members of the Wheaton Sport Center. Please inquire on the memberships available.
